How to Write a Fun Birthday Thank You Card
Birthday thank you cards can be a lot of fun to write when you interject humor into your note. First start with a stationery notecard, or perhaps use one of your personalized thank you cards either with your name on it or maybe something birthday related. Then start with a note of thanks written on the inside of the card. My advice is to hand write out your note on another sheet of paper and try and keep the note 2 or maybe 3 sentences long, unless if your stationery card or thank you card is big enough. Nonetheless, most fold over tent cards will accommodate 3 sentences following your salutation.
Here are some ideas to get you started. Let's say that you recently had a birthday party for your son or daughter and numerous gifts were bestowed upon your child. (Even if there were no gifts, you'd still want to send a thank you card).
One thing to consider no matter many children attended is that the thank you card ought to be personalized inside to every child. Making a blanket thank you card to send out with the same message to everyone in generic fashion, just to save time, is a big no no.
Tailor the note in such a way that you draw in the experiences the guest had at the party. If you played pin the tail on the donkey, or had a party at a bowling alley or even an ice skating rink, outline something special about the event. Here is a sample thank you note which can be used after you have the birthday event.
This is a fun and colorful piece of personalized stationery that can be customized to suite your stationery needs. With enough space inside the notecard, your 3 sentence note will fit just fine.
